Are you tired of complaining about the world? Hearing stories of tax-breaks for billionaires and lack of affordable healthcare? Or maybe you're just tired of hearing other people complain. (that's me!)
So, would you like to do something about it?
When you think about it, almost all problems of society can be traced back to capitalism. That's not to say that capitalism is ALL bad, but that almost all of the biggest challenges of our society like climate change, income inequality, homelessness, poverty, greed, etc., are all a function of this way of doing things.
In other words, trade is good in some ways, but bad in others. But is that really the best we can do?
What if we all started sharing our goods and services en masse through sites like Sharebay? What if, by doing so, we enabled people and communities to look after themselves without appealing to any central authority or relying on things outside their control?
Isn't it possible that if enough of us did that, then we could all still enjoy the benefits and convenience of modern living but without the pitfalls of trading?
What do you say? Complain or build anew?
