Yes. My background is C/C++ and I have been professionally employed using it for over 15 years, but I am still new to mentoring.

Cool. I have been trying to learn C++ on my own, with following along with tutorials and such, with little success. I feel like my issue is, that I am having trouble retaining what I have learned. And, I thought that, maybe learning from you, or some one like your self, instead of a video on Youtube. Might work better.

Happy to help. What is your environment? Do you use an IDE (Integrated Development Environment) or a console or a website for compiling? Is C++ the first language you've used? Is there a way to contact you outside of sharebay messages, or is this best for you?

Yes, C++ is the first language, that I have tried to learn. I have used GameMaker in one tutorial, cause I am interested in making games, and Visual Studio 2022 in another. Sharebay is fine, but I don't check is as much as I should. But, I am on Discord quite frequently. So, I feel that is the best, between the two, for me. And, in regards to teaching\mentoring, I don't know if this will be a (for a lack of a better way to put this), big deal or not for you, but I am Dyslexic.
